July 27 - Sitka
Go figure.
We’ve had an amazing trip ... with
great wildlife photos. Whales, sea lions, sea otters, eagles, bears, and so much more.
But this photo ... shot from our
boat in Eliason Harbor in Sitka ... of the dilapidated boat next to us, is one of my favorite
photos of the trip.
CAT, the only live body we could see on the boat Pacific, seemingly has a story to tell.
Pulling back, the shot is even
more dramatic when you consider the juxtaposition of this old boat with the
mega yacht moored behind it.
The next day, we saw humans on Pacific, and I felt better that CAT was being taken care of. But still love the photo ... and want to hear his story!
